A friend of mine put me onto this show. I don't watch TV shows, and haven't in quite a long time - so this is the first TV show I've really watched. It's amazing, the show never ceases to be interesting as more insane (yet realistic, considering everything) drama piles onto Nancy. The main things that interest me about the show is the realism, likeable characters, and the fact that I usually can never predict what is going to happen next. I haven't completely finished it, so I cannot offer a full review (I'm only on season 3, beginning 4) but so far I would definitely say the series is a must-watch.

So besides watching anime, I watched a lot of movies. I'm going to divide them into 4 tiers: Good, Great, Alright, and Shit.
Great
21 Jump Street [R] - Hilarious. I had to pause the movie a few times because I was laughing so hard. 9.5/10
Back to the Future [PG] - I shouldn't have to explain why this is amazing. 10/10
Back to the Future II [PG] - Slower start than the first, but still was amazing. 9.5/10
Back to the Future III [PG] - People give too much grief to this movie. Sure it's not as good as the first two, bit it's still amazing. 9/10
Howl's Moving Castle [PG] - The story and animation were both amazing. 9/10
Jeff, Who Lives At Home [R] - I... I kind of had my mind blown... 9.5/10
The 40 Year Old Virgin [R] - Hilarious. 9/10
The Hangover - Simply amazing. 9.5/10
The Hangover 2 - Just as, if not better than the first. 9.5/10
Tropic Thunder [R] - Hilarious movie with a top notch cast. 9/10
Good
Anchorman [R] - Lots of memorable lines. 8.5-10
Bad Teacher [R] - Bitches be crazy. 8/10
I Love You, Man [R] - Bromance story. Still funny. 8/10
Knocked Up [Unrated] - Great story. 8.5/10
Paul [R] - While I disagreed with it's views on Christians, it was still pretty funny. 8.5/10
Pineapple Express [R] - I... sort of zoned out while I was watching this, but what I saw was really good. 8/10
Scott Pilgrim vs The World [PG-13] - Still good the second time. 8.5/10
Alright
Borat [R] - I honestly couldn't finish this movie. I got bored. 6/10
Forgetting Sarah Marshall [Unrated] - Funny; however, I was forced to see Jason Segel's dick. Twice. 7/10
Get Him to the Greek [R] - Somewhat of a continuation of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. 7/10
In Bruges [R] - I didn't finish this movie, but what I saw was pretty good. 7.5/10
Superbad [Unrated] - I'm not sure why this movie got so much hype. It honestly wasn't very good. Except for the cops. I wish the movie had been based around them instead. 7/10
The Girl Next Door [Unrated] - I couldn't finish this one either. I got bored. 5.5/10
Shit
Bridesmaids [R] - Jesus Christ... I felt like I was in a Saw movie while having to watch this movie. I'm used to filth humor, but when the writers of a MOVIE have to resort to diarrhea and vomit as bases for their jokes, it get's pretty pathetic. 1/10

Hyperkin's SupaBoy REVIEW
I spotted this in my local mall's 3D Games (& Toys) and returned the next week with enough old games and accessories to get it (it runs between $85.99-89.99). This product plays SNES cartridges both on a tv/anything with appropriate inputs and on the go. It is not small, however. It is slightly larger than a DS XL (I'm approximating because I don't own a DS XL). As for gameplay, it works. There are times when the game will freeze or not load, but that happens on the original SNES as well, so it's not exactly a fault of the console. The joypad is a bit awkward - it just feels cheap and not as responsive as it should be. The audio is loud and clear, and the screen, while not huge, definitely works. One problem I've had, and it may just be my unit, is once it has erased my save on my Legend of Zelda: Link To The Past game - this is not a huge deal for me because I'm not an extremely competitive player and just throw it in when I feel like having fun, but I know this may be a deciding factor for some people out there. Also when outputting to a TV you need an actual control to play, you cannot use the system itself, but the system comes with two open controller ports. The battery life is good and rechargeable, so no complaints there. All-in-all I am happy with the SupaBoy, and while it can definitely be improved upon, it is a great product if you want to play some Super Mario World/Link To The Past/Ect. on the go.

Anime that I've recently finished and what I thought of them
So in the absence that occurred, I spent part of my time watching anime.
Yuru Yuri - Yuri moe starring about 13 girls in Junior High. Hilarity ensues. 8.5/10
Hen Zemi - Fucking... weird.... 7/10 (NSFW)
Kill Me Baby - 3 (technically 4) girls in High School that look like they should be in Elementary. Pretty funny. 8/10
Kore wa Zombie desu ka? - Ok... This was... different. There's a lot of "the fuck?" moments, but it's overall story was good. 7/10 (probably shouldn't watch it around normal people)
Upotte!! - Girls who carry guns, and are said guns at the same time. Funny, with a good bit of war attached to it. 8.5/10
Angel Beats! - It seems to take a lot of inspiration from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, in both animation style and slightly with the plot. Other than that, it's amazing... except it has one of the worst endings in history. 8/10
Elfen Lied - Shit's fuck up yo. 6/10 (NSFW/L)
Chobits - I had already seen it previously, but I decided to watch it again. It has a slow start, but has a good message about how technology is probably advancing too fast. 8.5/10
Clannad - Based off a visual novel, I surprisingly liked the love story. It was actually pretty good. 7/10
Sgt Frog - If you haven't seen this yet, you have to get on Netflix and watch it right now. There have been moments during this show where I've just had to pause it and just laugh because the jokes are so well written. This also must be seen in English. Usually it doesn't matter too much if an anime is viewed in dub or subbed format, but a lot of the jokes in the later seasons have more to do with western pop culture in the English dub. And besides, the cast for the show is amazing. 9/10
Gurren Lagann - God damn. Just go watch this show. Now. 9/10

Highschool of the Dead
So this is an anime that I (somewhat) recently finished watching. I was looking around to see if there was any news for a second season, and I stumbled upon this comment that does a good job of what I was going to do.
High School Of The Dead is a good anime. The tragedy is that it could have been a *great* anime if not for some horrible mistakes.
Let me explain. The setup is awesome. Zombie apocalypse+ a renegade group of kids + anime? It's pretty much every nerd's wet dream. Unfortunately, the writers decided to focus on the "wet" part much more than the dream.
A lot of people have been debating over HotD's overuse of fan service. Is it justified? I personally don't think so. Here you have a perfectly awesome setup for the apocalypse. People grabbing their guns, moral dilemmas, false messiahs, etc. HotD sets this up in a fairly realistic way and creates an immersive world that terrifies and fascinates the viewer. Then they give you episodes where 90% of the screen time is decided to naked women touching each other. Other episodes are more toned down, but the fan service isn't very subtle and it is very distracting and at times annoying. Shizuka, One of the main characters (who really isn't a character as much as she is a walking-talking fetish provider) has boobs that are literally larger than her head and does absolutely nothing besides acting stupid. She provides absolutely no other value to the show, and one has to wonder how she even gets out of bed in the morning.
Some of the other characters also have the same kind of one demential personality. Then you have characters like Saeko, and Takashi, who end up being dynamic and very interesting to watch. These two characters provide the show character development, constantly walking the line between hero and killer. They are fairly fascinating to watch, especially given that the series never promoted itself as being thought provoking.
The artwork is tough to describe, because while it is a visually impressive show, some of the character designs are incredibly awkward. As I mentioned before, the breast proportions on the female characters are insane. Rei and Saya have very edgy and unattractive hair that makes their characters look a bit cheaper than the rest of the cast. Despite this, most of the illustrations are very beautiful and it's generally top notch animation.
The best way to enjoy HotD is to expect very little from it and just go along for the ride. It has some terrible faults that might really ruin it for a lot of people, but watching the group survive the apocalypse is incredibly entertaining. It's a great mindless anime that is far better than any ecchi I have ever seen. If you are looking for a show with well developed characters and tasteful character interactions, find a different show. I would say that its worth making the exception for HotD though.

Captain America (SPOILERS)
So I just came back from seeing the new movie. It stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, and Dominic Cooper. First off, I liked it. I wouldn't say it was the best movie ever, but it was still good. It was definitely better then some of the other movies I've seen recently. I saw Rango and that was kind of stupid.
Back to Captain America. It started off in a snowy area, where some people find some kind of huge metallic object. They go into it and find something round with a white star on it. Now it goes back to the 40's. It doesn't tell you this, but it happened. During this time, there's a lot of dialogue. I almost felt like it was going too fast. It did show how Steve Rodgers was a wimp, and was just too small to actually win a fight. His best friend, "Bucky" is also introduced. He is an average guy, but stands up for Steve, and is a good friend. Steve has tried to join the army 5 times, in different places, all of them saying he was from a different place (that's illegal). His 6th time, we meet the German scientist who makes Steve Captain America. We then also meet the love interest, who is a British agent named Peggy Carter. After a while, Steve becomes super strong, and about 6 inches taller through a medical procedure done by the scientist, and who I would believe is Tony Stark's grandfather, Howard Stark.
The German scientist then gets shot in the heart, by a German spy, right after Steve becomes super human. Steve then chases the man and kills him, becoming a hero. He is then named Captain America, and does shows for a few months. He then tries to do a show in front of a group of soldiers who aren't as amused. Steve then learns that Bucky, who got into the military, and the rest of the squad that was captured by the bad guys who are in an organization called Red Skull, which later becomes Hydra after the leader decides to branch off of the Nazis.
He then goes on a solo mission to rescue them. This is the first time we get to see him in action. He's more stealthy though, because he doesn't have much armor, and only has a regular shield. He gets all of them freed, including whoever else was captured, but not before the leader of Hydra, decides to blow the place up in an attempt to hide all of the power they were harnessing from this little cube thing, and kill the Captain. The leader of Hydra, then pulls his face off... Yes. He pulls his face off, revealing a red skull, which turns out to be the side effect of another experiment that was done by the German scientist who was mentioned earlier. He then escapes. Bucky then walks across a beam to get to safety, but right before it breaks. The Captain then has to jump across, as he has no other choice.
The camera then changes mid jump, to a Colonel telling a Lieutenant what to type into a type writer, saying that Captain America has died. We then see everyone else in the camp get all exited over something. We then see Captain America and the 400 other soldiers he saved, walking up a hill.
This is when he finally gets some respect. He then gets new armor, and his shield. He also makes a team, composing of some of the people he saved. Then there's a montage of about 10 different missions they went on. I love these, you really get to see Captain America in action. After that, Mr. America gets some. Not really, but he does start making out with an intern, right before Peggy finds them, and interrupts them. They go on a few more missions, and a movie is made of him that Peggy sees, and Steve has a pocket watch with a picture of Peggy in it.
The Captain then devises a huge plan to raid Hydra's main base. He kills some of the Hydra soldiers, and then gets captured. He ends up in the main room of the base, in front of Red Skull. Three of the American soldiers then break through the glass and into the room. More people are cued, and a big fight scene starts. Red Skull then tries to escape into a jet. The Captain is too slow to catch him by running, but the Colonel shows up in Red Skull's car with Peggy. They then quickly speed up to catch it. While doing this, Steve finally kisses Peggy. He jumps, and barely makes it. The car then stops right before the edge of the cliff.
The Captain gets in and sees that the inside is filled with nukes, labeled Chicago, Boston, and New York. He fights his way up to Red Skull, and fights him. Red Skull then holds the power cube in his hands, and he goes into another dimension. Steve finds out how close he is to New York, and he can't cancel the bomb dropping. Captain America then has a heart breaking talk with Peggy, who is back at the base, saying they will dance next Saturday. The Captain then dives the plane into an isolated snowy area. He then wakes up in a hospital, hearing a baseball game on the radio... back in the 40's. A nurse comes in and he then realizes that he was at the game that's being played on the radio. He busts out of the room, and finds himself in modern day New York. Soldiers surround him, and he's told by some guy that he's been asleep for 70 years. He says that he's ok, but he missed a date. The movie then ends.
Go see this movie if you haven't, it's worth it alone just too see the action scenes. Something I noticed though, I saw almost no bullets or muzzle flairs, yet somehow the Hydra soldiers were dying. I saw a lot of the blue stuff Hydra was shooting, but not many bullets. But besides that, you need to go see this movie.
