Do NOT eat at Lambo

If you're ever in around Houston, and you feel like eating some Chinese food, but you want more than one thing (like a buffet), do NOT go to Lambo. I ate there on Saturday, and it's now Tuesday. I've been puking and having diarrhea for THREE DAYS. The puking stopped after Sunday, but not the diarrhea. It might have been the octopus, because my mom didn't eat any, and she's fine. But even without the octopus, it's not that good of a restaurant.
It's like your average Chinese buffet, but the food just wasn't that good. There was sushi, but I've had better. Overall, I'd give the Lambo a 2/10, because they did have good ribs.

My Music Setup

My Microphone is a SHURE PG27-USB with a normal mount, a SHURE Pop Filter & a basic SHURE Stand. I use a Beats By Dre Solo HDs & a pair of Stereo Speakers for monitoring. I have a KORG 37 Velocity-Sensitive MiniUSB Keyboard. Currently I'm stuck using Garageband for production and editing, but I'm hoping to change that soon enough.

Holocaust Museum in Houston Review

In the "spirit" of it almost being national Holocaust Day (or whatever its called), I figured I'd review a museum. It's pretty hard to do this, since a museum is a museum, but I'll try.
First off, it's free. YES! Free is always good. I ended spending about two and a half hours there today. It has one main exhibit, that is always there, including a half hour video at the end. Now, I've been studying the Holocaust in school lately, and I actually ended up learning A LOT while I was there. It has two other exhibits at the end, that change every now and then. This time I went, there was an art exhibit dedicated to the Holocaust, and a photography exhibit. There's also an exhibit outside, that has a dedicated bench, an original boat used for smuggling Jews into neutral countries, and a train cart used to transport the Jews to the concentration camps.
You could walk into the cart, and inside, there was a thermometer. Today around the time I was there, it was about 65 degrees (in Fahrenheit), and in the cart, it was 80. Imagine how hot it was during the summer, with everyone crammed into it. There was also a wall thing dedicated to remembering the Holocaust where you could put a rock to show that you would remember and to make sure that nothing like this would ever happen again. I obviously put a rock.
Something I learned while I was there is that no only did Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, ect., ect., were sent to the concentration camps, but also Jehovah's witnesses.
I think this was more of a summary than a review. Oh well.

I Wanna Shoot Lady Gaga?

Singer Sabrina released a promotional single titled "I Wanna Shoot Lady Gaga"
and while I am completely on board with her decision (and have the song as my ringtone)
it is raising a lot of questions and hate.
Sabrina herself said that she doesn't wish to actually shoot the human,
Stefani, but her persona "Lady GaGa".
She also did not mean for the song to be taken seriously,
which is why the album art is just of a water pistol rather than a legitimate gun.
"Shoot, shoot Lady Gaga..." oh my bad, someone just called me

Eminem Signs Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf to Shady Records

Caucasian-Cherokee Rapper Yelawolf & Rap Supergroup Slaughterhouse (Including members Royce Da 5'9'', Crooked I, Joe Budden & Joell Ortiz) are now signed to Eminem's Shady Records.

Does this means we'll be seeing Eminem on Slaughterhouse's album, or maybe that Eminem x Royce album Bad Meets Evil finally? Or even better, a whole Mixtape of Eminem x Slaughterhouse x Yelawolf. Guess we'll find out.

New Song!

And I got it done in time for the contest deadline!

What The Hell?

Yesterday, while I was still asleep, my brother's friend decided to throw pennies at me. I thought I had gotten out all of the pennies from my bed, but I soon found out that I didn't.
This morning while taking a shower, a penny fell out of my hair.
That is all.

Something Funny

This all happened in Mrs. Reynolds science class.

Yesterday, our usually mean science teacher, let us sit wherever we wanted for that day since she hadn't done the seating chart yet. My friends Simbai, Glenn, Alberto, and I were all going to be quiet and pay attention so that Mrs. Reynolds would put us at the same table the next day.

It didn't exactly happen.

Alberto, Glenn, and I are now all at the same table. Simbai is with a fat and annoying chick, and some new kid. Mrs. Reynolds must hate him. And it can't be a racist thing either, they're both black.

That's it.

Ice Cream & Sadness Review

For those of you who don't know what Cyanide and Happiness is, go die in a hole. Kris Wilson, Rob DenBleyker, Matt Melvin, and Dave McElfatric have done it again with their second book, Ice Cream & Sadness. This wonderful piece of art is filled with, not only comics, but also hilarious activities and a forward by the creator of XKCD, Randall Munroe. This book is just as, if not more, crude and funny as the first.

It's about a 45 minute read, so don't take this as your only book on an airplane ride. It is however, a book that you can read multiple times and still find it amusing. It's filled with 120 comics, and 30 strips that won't be on their site. It also comes with eleven activities, which are quite easy, so if you're a mentally handicapped adult, you should have no problems finishing them. That's not the idea though. They're meant to be funny, and are.

I'd give Ice Cream & Sadness a 10/10. There's not much else I can say about it. Just go buy it. Now... Why are you still reading this and not in the car? GO.

Black Swan Review

Black Swan
Black Swan

Director:

Darren Aronofsky

Stars:

Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and Vincent Cassel
Rated R for
strong sexual content, disturbing violent images, language and some drug use.

Without revealing much, Black Swan is about a young woman achieving her goal to be casted for and to play the Swan Queen in the Swan Lake ballet.

The entire movie and it's characters give off a very dark feeling, and the actors and score add to the surreal darkness that you feel while watching the movie. The director does an amazing job of telling the story through Nina's (Natalie Portman) eyes and Natalie Portman does an astounding job transforming into Nina for the movie capturing both her innocence near the beginning and her will and transformation near the end.

Pros
-The acting was nearly flawless, really got you into the movie
-They explain the ballet so people who don't know the story behind it (like me) can follow along quite nicely
-The director shows what it's like to be inside Nina's mind and her transformation very well
-The movie amplifies natural human qualities such as jealousy & deceit to show the characters personas very well
-The dark theme was well maintained throughout and executed perfectly

Cons
-This movie is not for everyone, simple as that
-Starts off slow, attention is required
-With the kind of movie it is, there isn't much reason to re-watch this movie many times

All in all, Black Swan is an amazing movie with great acting, plot depth & is visually stunning

Tangled Review

I'm not going to get into too much detail about this movie, so I'll just use the pros and cons.

Pros:
Well animated.
A new twist on the classic tale of Rapunzel.
Pretty funny.
Good voice actors.

Cons:
Fairly cliché.
The ending was too predictable.

Overall, I'd give it a 7.5/10.
