Thanksgiving and political correctness confusion.

So, happy Thanksgiving! Well, at least to our American readers. But besides that, I thought of something today. If we say 'happy holidays', then how come, if you go into a store around now (excluding a Jewish store) you'll never hear 'Dreidel, dreidel'. Why?
