So, because my legal wording sucks I'm going to quote parts of the blog post (source 1) to explain the situation. Source 2 is the actual Bill.

The legislation removes the requirement of congressional approval for the use of military force and instead gives the President totalitarian dictatorial authority to engage in any and all military actions for an indefinite period of time.

It even gives the President the authority to launch attacks against American Citizens inside the United States with no congressional oversight whatsoever.

Just to recap, because that was a mouthful:

• Endless War – The war will continue until all hostilities are terminated, which will never happen.
• No Borders – The president will have the full authority to launch military strikes against any country, organization or person, including against U.S citizens on U.S soil.
• Unilateral Military Action – Full authority to invade any nation at any time with no congressional approval required.
• No Clearly Defined Enemy – The US can declare or allege anyone a terrorist or allege they are or have been supporting “hostilities” against the US and attack at will.
• Authorization To Invade Several Countries – The president would have full authority to invade Iran, Syria, North Korea, along with several other nations in Africa and the Middle East and even Russia and China under the legislation all of which are “know” to have supported and aided hostilities against the United States.

The Amazing World of Gumball

It's a show on Cartoon Network. Obviously it's meant for kids, but that isn't why I'm making a post about it. It's kind of funny, but what makes it stand out is it's art style. It takes some real world photos, some clay-mation, and some regular drawing, all mashed into one. It's actually pretty neat. Check it out some time if you can.

So since I'm supposed to be gone this weekend too, meaning I can't post a VGOTW on Saturday, I've decided to change the day to Thursday, since I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be home on Thursdays. That will be all.

Beats By Dre: Solo HD - Replacement in Progress

So in the last month and a half or so my Solo HDs have had a odd buzzing in the left cup and one of the prongs have popped out, and with the risk of further damaging I haven't tried to force it back in (have tried to gently push it back in, will add pictures) . About a week back I emailed monstercables (manufacturer of Beats) about the problem. They emailed me back today with a phone number if I'd like to call or a form if I'd like to replace the beats for a brand new pair. I would like to replace them because I love my Solo HDs, I use them for daily music listening as well as monitoring when I record my music. The form requires a copy of the receipt you received when you bought them, and to my dismay my blew away in the wind the day I got the beats. Other things needed on the form are all of your information as well as the date of purchase and retailer (mine was a physical Apple Store), and hopefully with this information I'm able to successfully replace my beats. From what I've seen Monster & Beats By Dre have very nice customer support both over email and on Beats By Dre's official facebook page (they reply to many comments over customer issues). I will update on how this plays out.

UPDATE #1 - After replying and telling them I no longer have the receipt I got a reply the next day telling me it is the receipt that validates the warranty but that they would do a one time courtesy exchange and allow me to receive a new product. They told me the new product would not have a warranty on it due to the nature of the issue. I replied asking if there is any other possible way to validate the warranty possibly with a serial number or if I could give him the exact store. Will update on how this turns out.

Osama Bin Laden Killed

Live on NBC, President Obama is going to make a statement live from the East Room at the White House. Obama will be confirming that Osama bin Laden has been killed.

News stations saying his body is in the hands of US officials and that this has resulted from military action.

Well, the hide-n-seek champion 2001-2011 is dead (okay horrible joke I know). I'll update this with anymore news that comes in.

In other news we get another Detox single May 7, wondering if maybe these events are connected...Detox was taking so long because Dre was working out (like in the I Need a Doctor video) so he could take out Osama...now he's free to work on Detox. #JustSaying
